The Outpost Retreat is able to cater for an assortment of functions and occasions. It is a popular destination for weddings, birthdays and celebrations, small corporate functions or just dinner for two.

The Outpost Retreat, as a member of the Gippsland Gourmet Country Tourism Association is also actively involved in the Melbourne Food & Wine Regional Long Lunch that is held annually. This event is held on the Trestle Bridge at Noojee, and John (as head chef) works with other chefs within Gippsland Gourmet Country to put on a spectacular meal. This event has received some amazing media coverage and is a sell out every time it is held.
