The Chef - John Snelling
John Snelling has worked a number of International Class restaurants over the years, including 13 years at Café Di Stasio in St.Kilda, and was the head chef for 7 of those years.
John and his wife Barb purchased The Outpost Retreat in July 2003 and have been very involved in bringing the restaurant up to the highest standard. All food and desserts are cooked on the premises and the menu is large and varied, focusing predominantly on local produce.
Restaurant opens Thursday evening, Friday, Saturday for lunch and dinner and Sunday for lunch. Will open for bookings for over 30 people on any other day by arrangement.
